I've used some other dictionary tools, and they had colour-coding to make them easier to scan with the eye. It would be great if the headword were one colour, the phonetic guide another.
Something like:
: 漢字 汉字 [Hàn zì] /Chinese character, kanji/ 漢 汉 [hàn] /Chinese/name of a dynasty/ 字 字 [zì] /letter/symbol/character/word/ (汉=0x6C49) [M: YI4 HAN4 C: --] chinese people; chinese language
Instead of:
: 漢字 汉字 [Hàn zì] /Chinese character, kanji/ 漢 汉 [hàn] /Chinese/name of a dynasty/ 字 字 [zì] /letter/symbol/character/word/ (汉=0x6C49) [M: YI4 HAN4 C: --] chinese people; chinese language

colour-coding is nice but the background seems to have changed to grey so the colours appear OK but the black font words are difficult to read. How to change to a white background?
