Hello
For the character 更 HanziBar displays:
更 更 [gēng] /to change/ (更=0x66F4) M: GENG4 GENG1 C: GANG1 GANG3 more, still further, much more
Wenlin shows:
更 [gèng] more [gēng] night watch 更 gèng* adv. ①more; still/even more ②further; furthermore
And the "right" translation this time IS -> [gèng] more
How can I interpret the information of HanziBar better?
What does the second line of HanziBar mean (M:, C:)? -> (更=0x66F4) M: GENG4 GENG1 C: GANG1 GANG3 more, still further, much more
Thank you.

The CEDICT phrase dictionary ( www.mandarintools.com/cedict.html) has 2 definitions: 更 更 [geng4] /more/even more/further/still/still more/ 更 更 [geng1] /to change/ The UNICHIN single-character-dictionary ( www.mandarintools.com/cgi-bin/UNICHIN.TXT) has 1 definition: 66F4 73.3 7 GENG4 GENG1 more, still further, much more GANG1 GANG3 - 255 A7F3 B8FC For Chinese, Hanzibar shows the CEDICT first, then the UNICHIN single-character definition. The M: & C: are Mandarin & Cantonese pronunciations from the UNICHIN dictionary.

Hello
HanziBar displays ONLY one meaning -> [gēng] /to change/
The second meaning "[geng4] /more/even more/further/still/still more/" is not displayed clearly!
With tooltip I can see that.
I think there is some overlap on the second line ..!?
HanziBar shows: 更 更 [gēng] /to change/ (更=0x66F4) M: GENG4 GENG1 C: GANG1 GANG3 more, still further, much more
Where is the second definition?

Only one definition from CEDICT is shown; there aren't many multiple definitions in it and most of them are redundant entries. The UNICHIN listing provides for most of the other meanings.
For the speedup rework I'm doing I may list even the redundant entries.

Hello HanziBar SHOULD show this: 更 更 [gèng] /more/even more/further/still/still more/ 更 更 [gēng] /to change/ (更=0x66F4) M: GENG4 GENG1 C: GANG1 GANG3 more, still further, much more I found another character whose SECOND definition is MORE important but NOT clearly shown by HanziBar! I'm sorry to say that it is misleading because Chinese has so many characters with multiple definitions! Is it a problem of CEDICT or of HanziBar?? 我給他打了電話。 = I called him on the phone. 打 must be "hit" and not "dozen"!! HanziBar shows this: 打 打 [dá] /dozen/ (打=0x6253) M: DA3 DA2 C: DA1 DA2 strike, hit, beat; fight; attack It is the same kind of error. I'm sure you forget to show the second/multiple definition of CEDICT!! Pls correct the algorithm! Thanks

You wrote: "Only one definition from CEDICT is shown"
I give one more example that it is wrong to show only one definition!
The character ( 说 = shuo ) means mostly to SAY.
HanziBar shows: 說 说 [shuì] /persuade (politically)/ (说=0x8BF4) M: SHUO1 SHUI4 TUO1 YUE4 C: -- speak, say, talk; scold, upbraid
HanziBar doesn't show the important definition!!
You can take a look at the DLTool to see the algorithm because DLTool shows all definitions.
I like HanziBar better although I've paid a small $ for it because it's easier to use HanziBar.

Version 1.3 shows more entries, and loads much faster now.
