I have bought the IE version TWICE. Once a while ago. I hadn't used it in a while since I mainly use Firefox, but now I NEED to use IE for a specific web site that won't work in Firefox.
I bought the software AGAIN because I could not get the full version to function on my IE. I am running vista with IE7.
When I use my old reg key it says "thank you for registering" and brings me to the home page. But when I go to install the dictionary, both the Chinese and Japanese dictionary buttons are in gray and unclickable.
For this reason I figured maybe there was a problem with my reg key, so I purchased again. I received a receipt from Paypal but NOTHING from you guys. What's going on here?
I appreciate the product immensely, but I need some help here.
Thanks, Jake

This may be due to Vista restricted admin rights.
Try running IE by right-clicking and "run as administrator", then re-enter the registration info.
I can refund any redundant purchase.

I love HanziBar, but I am having the same problem as user jakeamin above: I had to pay again to get the IE version when I had already bought the Firefox version, then cannot get the dictionaries to load because they are always grayed out. I tried running IE as Administrator per your post, but that did not work. The HanziBar toolbar will not display when running as Admin, so there is no way to reenter the registration key. I can enable or disable HanziBar add-on, but it never displays in Admin. mode. I have restarted IE and rebooted the computer. I have run the repair installation, uninstalled, reinstalled and it still won't let me load the dictionary. I have tried cutting and pasting the Reg Key and typing it in. I get positive replies from your site either way. I have tried every context menu, option tab, toolbar control, and every clickable pixel I could find. Nothing helps. I have my Chinese keyboard input and browser displays working fine, so I don't think it is an Asian Languages problem. I don't know what the problem is. I hope I am just overlooking something obvious, because HanziBar made my Chinese studies so much richer. I really miss it.
I am using IE 8.0.7600 on Windows 7 Professional w/ all critical updates installed, 64 bit OS w/4 GB RAM.
Thanks in advance for help and thanks in general for making HanziBar available to us.
