How about compatibility with Firefox 1.5 Beta 1 (Deer Park)?

TESTED ON A MAC! Works fine. This plugin is fantastic... gladly paid the $5. My setup is MacOS X 10.4.2 Tiger, Firefox 1.5 b1... no problems so far.

Good News!
Maybe Mac compatibility came with the 1.5 beta, though I never saw it fail...
Thanks for the feedback.

I presume that this plug-in only works for documents in the browser .... that it will not work for MSN messages etc., right?
Remember, there are no stupid questions. Only stupid people who ask questions.

Ya, only for browser text at the moment.
But you can copy/paste into any available browser text window to get the hover-translation. The Babelfish and Google translate pages have boxes I use to paste, then hover over.
I might add a secondary working-window beside the translation-window if there's demand.

Not exactly sure what the secondary window would look like ... I am fairly sure I have seen your software in action, and it is pretty darn good. I am just trying to avoid the hassle of the copy/paste/translate that I go through when I am being instant messaged from Friends in China. I read just well enough that they are willing to write me in Chinese, but not well enough that I do not desperately need help (every fourth word).

Is it possible to use Hanzibar other than with a web browser? For example I would find it really useful to be able to have the bar open in MS Word.

The top-left button shown in the image above is a toggle to show/hide Hanzibar, if that's what you meant. Any extension can be uninstalled as well.
